While the scholarship's selection criteria are still being finalized, the intention is for it to support a student from Richard Montgomery High School who embodies some of the qualities Neal held dear, with a connection to soccer likely to be an important part of the selection process.
More than financial support, the scholarship is a way to carry Neal's spirit forward. Through the generosity of family, friends, sponsors, and the community, his love of soccer, friendship, adventure, and pursuing life's passions can continue to make a difference in the life of another young person.
